Blackburn Music Society Spring Concert

Blackburn Music Society perform Elgar's favourite work, The Dream of Gerontius, in Blackburn Cathedral on Sat.18th March at 7.30pm. The choir will be accompanied by Wilmslow Symphony Orchestra and soloists Emily Howard Cobley, Benjamin Sweeney and Thomas D. Hopkinson, all ably conducted by our talented Music Director, Tom Newall.

Elgar said of The Dream of Gerontius, This is the best of me... this, if anything of mine, is worth your money - come and see if it's true!
