Many of Avebury Manor's past owners journeyed to far flung places. Some of the most intriguing journeys involve Adam and Anne Williamson who owned the Manor in the late 18C. Discover their adventures with a lecture by Dr Ros Cleal. While owning Avebury Manor in the late 18C, Adam and Anne Williamson spent most of their time in Jamaica. In his early life Adam's career also took him to America where he was involved in one of the most disastrous military expeditions the British army ha.
