Did you know that Romans introduced 'stake and strand' basket weaving' While continuing as a living tradition, basket weaving has undergone a revival of interest among craftspeople, leading to new forms of expression. Richard Kerwood of Windrush Willow will lead a one-day workshop making willow garden supports. In the morning you can make a tall wigwam with a spiral twist for climbers. In the afternoon you can choose to repeat the wigwam plant support or to make a cyli. Booking E
