A Midsummer Night’s Dream

Four young lovers escape the sharp Athenian law of their elders by eloping into the forest outside the city. Unfortunately they stumble into civil war in fairyland, where King Oberon and Queen Titania fight over possession of a beautiful young Indian changeling boy. The Yvonne Arnaud Youth Theatre’s Act One production group embraces what is arguably one of Shakespeare’s best-loved plays, A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Thursday 30 March – Saturday 1 April).
