Providing an enthralling insight into her life and times, Vesta – Worcester’s Wonder of the Music Halls (Saturday 6 May) explores the life and music of Vesta Tilley. Born in 1864, the remarkable female entertainer became an international superstar on both sides of the Atlantic, always appearing on stage dressed as a man. When she retired, nearly two million people signed the People's Tribute to Vesta Tilley.
