Cyrano de Bergerac

One of the best-loved, romantic comedies of all time, Cyrano de Bergerac (Thursday 25 – Saturday 27 May) tells of a Gascony cadet: a hero, poet and hopeless romantic, blessed with a huge heart and an enormous nose. Guildford’s Performance Preparation Academy brings the wit, humour and heartache of Edmond Rostand’s Cyrano to life in Anthony Burgess’s sparkling translation, complete with rip-roaring sword fights and, of course, panache.
