The Friends of St Chad’s, Shrewsbury's civic church, invite people to enjoy a series of events to commemorate an aspect of the world-famous war poet Wilfred Owen.The various facets of Owen’s life and work are to be explored, in three talks at the “Baptism of Fire – Wilfred Owen’s War in 1917” in St Chad’s Church, Shrewsbury, starting at 2pm.
