Lost Property: Private Loss to Public Gain

Moyse’s Hall’s catalogue reads like a Who’s Who of Bury St Edmunds Victorian academia. Henry Prigg, who discovered Graves at West Stow, M. R. James who helped form the earliest academic surveys of the Town’s former Abbey, Harvey Frost whose coin collection affords the Museum a dynastic history of England through Money to name but a few.
