WW1 1917 London's Bomber Blitz
1917 saw Germany launch new aerial weapons against London, large Bomber aircraft replacing the limited Zeppelins, aircraft more capable of inflicting severe damage at a time when the British thought the Air threat was diminishing.
The damage scale and the human losses forced the British to re-think the way they faced the German air arm and how the British must devise tactics and weapons to counter the new Bomber Plane Menace. Slide Illustrated Talk.
