Concert of Classical Music by the Welwyn Garden City Chorus and Orchestra
Our next concert will celebrate 400 years of Shakesperean legacy, and we will pay homage to the Bard through the medium of well-known compositions played and sung to a high standard by the Welwyn Garden City Orchestra and Chorus. Our programme will include: Chausson - The Tempest, Prokofiev- Dance of the Knights from Romeo and Juliet, Wagner-Das Liebesverbot Overture from Measure for Measure, Thomas-Ballet Music from Hamlet, plus Choral settings of Sonnets.
