Dogdyke Pumping Station
Museum where you can discover how Fenland drainage works. See a beam engine work. See a wooden scoop wheel which lifted the water from the land into the River Witham operational. See a Ruston & Hornsby 7XHR diesel engine driving a Gwynnes centrifugal pump, both built in Lincoln and installed in 1940. See the cottage where the engine attendant and his family lived, now a small museum and also enjoy tea and home-made cake.

Opening times are 1.30 until 4.30pm.
Entry if free but donations are welcomed.
