The Boxford Masques is a large scale community theatre performance held in the grounds of Welford Park. The Masques were originally staged before the First World War and were revived by the Watermill Theatre in 2000, with new scripts created by local author Geraldine MacCaughrean. Now an independent charity the Masques have become a regular and popular feature of West Berkshire summer life.
