Nightjars on Farnham Heath
Nightjars are mysterious birds, and over the years have been given many strange local names - Goatsucker and Fern Owl, to name but two. Whatever you call them, they're great! Spend two hours on the heath on a warm summer evening (we hope!), to hear their eerie song and hopefully glimpse this nocturnal migrant as it drifts over the heath, as well as enjoy some of the other wildlife that uses the reserve.
