Stonehenge Landscape - Wings over Stonehenge - Stonehenge Airfield Walk

Stonehenge Airfield was a hugely important place during World War 1, training pilots to fly aircraft into battle. This walk around the Stonehenge landscape is led by expert guides who will explain all about this key site in aviation history. This is a circular walk centred on the World War I airfield which existed on the very boundary of the Stonehenge Monument, between the years 1917 and 1921.
