Houghton Mill and Waterclose Meadows - National Mills Weekend 2017
Go back to the golden age of our mill. Come along to Houghton Mill for some Victorian themed fun over National Mills weekend on May 13th and 14th.
Meet our Millers and special guest Potto Brown the village philanthropist who famously ran the mill from 1822-62.Have a play with our Victorian toys, come dressed in Victorian style to add to the fun. The mill will also be running on Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 1 until 4.30 producing our own stoneground whole meal flour. Booking Not Needed.
