Wild Food and Medicine Walk on Harting Down
Led by herbalist Alice Bettany from Sacred Seeds, we forage then prepare our finds for use as food or medicine.
We spend a morning foraging over Harting Down for culinary and medicinal plants; after a lunch - at least in part prepared from our own finds - we will focus on practical herbal applications and practical herbal medicine making, covering oxymels, glycerines, tinctures, decoctions, syrups, ointments, compresses and more.
10:00 to 15:00; £20 [includes car parking charges] paid at the event in cash; bring a packed lunch in case we find mainly medicinal plants, plus bottled water to drink on the walk - there will be hot
