The summer news agenda of 2017 continues to be dominated by Brexit and all too often the vocabulary is harsh and accusing, notions of ‘them’ and ‘us’ continue to be acceptable in the mainstream. At Equality Council UK we see it as our mission to be at the vanguard of diversity and equality. This begins with education, involves a lot of understanding, acceptance and a demonstration of humility from us all.
