Merse Walk
The merse (saltmarsh) is the most important habitat at WWT Caerlaverock all year round, for barnacle geese, birds of prey, ducks and waders in winter and a variety of specialist plants in summer. Take this unique opportunity to discover what it is like out on the merse on this walk with knowledgeable wardens. A good level of fitness is required as some creek jumping may be necessary…!
