The Garden showcases and shares the fascinating world of plant science for its annual Festival of Plants. The Botanic Garden is not just about the beauty of plants; it is an important focus for plant science research, not only in Cambridge but also around the world. Researchers investigate how plants work, how they evolved, how they are related to each other and how they can be used to address global problems as challenging as food security and climate change. Come and visit to find out more about these exciting projects at our Festival of Plants - a fun-filled, fact-finding, family day out where the Garden becomes a hive of activity; a range of events and exhibits are timetabled to run throughout the day.
Open from 10.00am to 6.00pm. Adult £5.50, Concession £4.95 (over 65), Children 0-16 FREE accompanied by an adult at all times.
