Dorking South Street Caves Tours
Dorking’s famous South Street Caves date from the 17th century and were long used for storage of wine, although other rumours abound. Staircases, galleries and chambers lead down to the lowest chamber, known as the ‘Mystery Chamber’, 50 feet below street level. Tours take approximately 45 minutes. Group tours (maximum 12 people, no under-5s) by appointment at a time to suit you. Open walk for individual bookings at 10am, 11am, 1pm and 2pm on Saturday 27th May. Details and to book in advance
