Things To Do Wherever You Are

The Weaver’s House Open Day Tudor Games & Easter

Come along to the first Open Day of the season to find out about the games the Tudors played including skittles, Nine Men’s Morris and quoits. Have a go at our Easter trail and learn about natural ways to dye eggs. We’ll also be launching our weaving project for 2017: to create a piece of cloth woven throughout the year, beginning with dyeing the wool using traditional dye. Come and visit this little medieval gem which has been restored to its 1540 appearance, complete with full size replica loom and working garden. Please note the solar room containing the loom is accessed via ladder. Refreshments are available on Open Days.
