Alison McGillivray is a cellist and viola da gamba player who is regularly heard playing with Concerto Caledonia, The Society of Strange and Ancient Instruments, Rachel Podger’s Brecon Baroque and the Dunedin Consort. Her solo recordings include CPE Bach’s Cello Concerto with the Academy of Ancient Music and Geminiani Cello Sonat
