Tastes of the Times: Eat Your Way Through Grafton's History!
Sample our history through food from the eleventh to the twenty first century. Each course will represent an era in Grafton's past, some of them being:
- After the Norman Conquest, Grafton belonged to the French Abbey of Grestain.
- In medieval times, the Woodville family owned much of the village.
- Henry VIII loved to hunt in Grafton and transformed the manor house into a palace.
- Elizabeth I and James I rented out Grafton House to some of their most powerful courtiers.
