Nynehead Court’s ‘Nature Day’ on 25th March promises to be an exciting day, with all profits going to nature-based good causes. Gates open at 11am and well-known Naturalist and Broadcaster Chris Sperring MBE will make an official welcome at 11.15am. Nynehead Court is delighted that both he and photographer Ian Anderson have agreed to host talks during the day, which will also include a demonstration by ‘Walks with Hawks’ and a walk to the otter survey site on the River Tone. The Nature Day also has stalls and activities for all the family, including the opportunity to make a bug hotel, wildflower bomb, and mini butterfly garden; and various nature groups including the National Trust, Somerset Wildlife Trust, Somerset Otter Group, and Marine Life Rescue will be exhibiting on the day. Tickets cost £5 per adult (no cost for children) and are available from Nynehead Court, or available to purchase at the gate.
