Revolutionary Times - Jane Austen

Jane Austen lived through stirring times. This walk with the Friends of Southampton Old Cemetery (FoSOC) looks at some of those who fought the French at sea and on land. Includes a Tale of Trafalgar, battles from the Peninsular War and some stories from the Battle of Waterloo 1815. As some paths are narrow, places are limited. This is in conjunction with Sarah Siddons Fan Club - Jane Austen 200th Anniversary of her death events which are happening during 2017.

Starts at 11.00 am at the Main Gate to the Old Cemetery end of Cemetery Rd by the Lodge.
Good shoes are recommended.
Walks are FREE by donations are welcomed.
