A Baker's Dozen of Bats

A talk by Jane Willmott, on the natural history of bats and their amazing diversity, focussing on Sussex species, habits and identification. What is so special about these big-eared flying mammals? Why do they have powerful legal protection? What do they tell us about the valuable habitats in our area?
Jane Willmott is Reserves Officer of SWT and Secretary of the Sussex Bat Group and has been working in conservation for 25 years.

Doors open 7.15pm for 7.30pm start
Walk with bat detectors at 8.45pm (weather permitting)
