Aleksei Demchenko was born in Alma-Ata, Kazakhstan (USSR), where he started playing the piano at the age of six. In 1998 he moved to Kaliningrad, where he studied for six years at the Shostakovich Music School under the tutelage of Sadovskaya Olga.
