Cedars Hall - An Afternoon of Romantic Song with Raphaela Papakakis and Roger Vignoles
The Somewhere Over the Rainbow lyricist Yip Harburg summed it up perfectly: “Words make you think. Music makes you feel. A song makes you feel a thought.” Following on from their Saturday workshop, with the school's young pianists and singers, Cedars Hall is delighted to welcome rising star soprano Raphaela Papadakis and the great Roger Vignoles to give a recital of their own, including songs by Haydn, Schumann, Strauss and a tribute to Shakespeare.
