Cedars Hall - Vikki Stone - Concerto for Comedian and Orchestra
Acclaimed as a cross between Victoria Wood and Tim Minchin, comedian, composer and former Wells Cathedral School flautist Vikki Stone presents her debut orchestral work. As the title suggests, it's a concerto in which the soloist is a comedian - a sort of Peter and the Wolf but with jokes. She says it's the first of its kind. Wells orchestral musicians have been developing the piece with her and tonight give its workshop world premiere with Vikki starring alongside conductor Ben Gla
