Cedars Hall - Complete Beethoven Violin Sonatas 2/5 with Krysia Osostowicz and Daniel Tong
Krysia Osostowicz and Daniel Tong have invited ten eminent composers to write short companion pieces, responding to one of Beethoven’s violin sonatas. In this second concert of the cycle, the rollicking high spirits of Beethoven’s Violin Sonata, op.12 no.2, inspired composer Peter Ash to create A Major Chase, and Matthew Taylor’s new piece Tarantella Furiosa, which is a modern reflection on Beethoven’s fiery Kreutzer Sonata. The concert is being recorded for CD.
