Miss Julie by August Strindberg

A country estate and it's Midsummer Eve. Miss Julie, the Count's daughter sleeps with the valet Jean. The resulting conflict between sexual passion and class is portrayed with striking and revolutionary modernity. Written in 1888 it was criticised for its immorality and had many problems with the censors.
