Sandham Memorial Chapel - Drama: Stanley at the Beaufort War Hospital
It's all in the paintings a play about the daily life of the Beaufort hospital through the eyes of the artist Stanley Spencer who served there as a medical orderly, the staff and patients described through our paintings. A play written by Mary Ingoldby, a Bristol Old Vic Open Session Writer (2016/17) which follows the narrative of the paintings here at Sandham to tell the story of the daily life of the hospital.
