Appleton Wiske Scarecrow Festival: Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd July 2017: 11 am -5pm
Please join us and stroll round our village to enjoy over 50 scarecrows. We hear the Big Friendly Scarecrow Giant is hoping to make an appearance. The children can enjoy a treasure hunt, make their own scarecrow dolls and for a treat enjoy an ice cream or candy floss.
The village hall provides refreshments of tea and coffee and homemade cakes and scones. Our raffle offers wonderful prizes one of which is a handmade quilt donated by the ladies quilting circle. The tombola is well stocked with
