If Music Be the Food of Love
Local a cappella group Romulus Singers presents a programme of music in a variety of styles, from madrigals, part-songs and sacred music of the sixteenth century to folk songs and popular music of the twentieth. Highlights include works by Monteverdi, Victoria and Dowland. There's a contemporary arrangement of Mozart's Ave Verum, and - giving this concert its title - Purcell's beautiful setting of Shakespeare's 'If Music Be the Food of Love'. Modern arrangeme
