Jane Austen and the Miracle of Pride and Prejudice

'Pride and Prejudice' was published 200 years ago when Jane Austen lived at Chawton. Elizabeth Proudman from the Jane Austen Society will discuss the history of the book from its origins twenty years earlier, when the young author wrote First Impressions in the tiny Hampshire village of Steventon, to its world-wide renown today.
