Cambridge Folk Club presents: Phil Beer Band
Phil Beer, best known for his multi-instrumental wizardry as one half of England’s top acoustic / roots duo Show of Hands, is also touring with his own band, The Phil Beer Band.
With Phil Beer (guitars, fiddles, mandolins and vocals), Emily Slade (guitar), Gareth Turner (melodeons), Greg McDonald (bass) and Steve Crickett (drums), The Phil Beer Band plays a unique blend of folk ‘n’ roll which The Guardian has described as “where Steve Earle and Richard Thompson collide”.
