Hands on History for All Ages - Disguise!
Why do we wear masks? Is it purely to coneal the face? Or do specific masks have the power to tell a story through their disguise? Get hands on with masks of all shapes, colours and forms from South Africa to Southeast Asia. Discover the materials they are made from, the individuals who would have worn them and their significance during performance, ritual and ceremony.
This drop in session for all ages runs from 11am to 4pm.
The session is FREE and visitors of all ages are welcome.
Donations welcome.
