Handel's Messiah - The Burgate Singers
An opportunity to hear Handel’s popular masterpiece in its entirety, performed by The Burgate Singers with professional soloists and orchestra, and conducted by Alain Judd with his usual panache. Messiah has been a hit with audiences ever since its first performance in 1742. In 1977 it was The Burgate Singers’ first-ever concert, and they are delighted to be back at the Corn Hall with this great work in their 40th-anniversary year.
