Kitchenalia – an Exhibition on the History of the Household

This new Kitchenalia exhibition features everyday objects from ordinary homes over the past hundred years. There are gadgets such as smoothing irons, progressing from those heated on the fire to modern steam irons, vacuum cleaners from early manual suction to 1960s Electrolux and an early spin dryer. Cook wear, butter pats and cast iron pans.

Free entry, but suggested £2 donation to Sheppey Promenade charity which runs the Cottage.
