Boudicca at Verulamium
AD61 and the Romans have conquered southern Britannia. But after The queen of the Iceni tribe, Boudicca, is publicly flogged and her daughters raped when she stands up to the Romans. In an act of revenge she starts an uprising, bringing other tribes to her cause. They burn two Roman cities to the ground, including London, and now they have attacked Verulamium. Roman general Suetonius is in North Wales, subduing the Druids. Now he is marching South, to meet the Britons head on. This play by Imoge
