Monteverdi 1610 Vespers: I Fagiolini and Durham Singers

One of the most magnificent choral works in the repertoire, Monteverdi's 1610 Vespers combines expressive and sensual solo writing with glorious double-chorus psalm settings, and all accompanied by an exotic line-up of early instruments: cornetts, sackbuts, dulcian, theorbo and recorders.
