Antiphon, the Hexham-based chamber choir conducted by John Roper, presents “Ye Gods!” - music celebrating wine, women and war, and the gods Bacchus, Venus and Mars! Includes music by Purcell, Pearsall, Morley and Monteverdi, and the spectacular “La Guerre” by Clement Janequin.
