Songs of Inspiration and Beauty Shrewsbury Choral Society Summer Concert
Shrewsbury Choral Society present ”Songs of Inspiration and Beauty.” It will be an eclectic mix of some of the most beautiful and inspiring works from the choral repertoire. Included in the programme, most notably is Samuel Barber’s famous Adagio, arranged for choir. Other famous pieces include Caccini’s Ave Maria, Schubert’s The Lord is my Shepherd, Brahms’ Geistliches Leid and Randall Thompson’s Alleluia.
