Morley and District Concert Band perform at Farnley Hall Park as part of the Summer Bands 2017 series. Free admission.
The Morley and District Concert Band was formed in September 1998 by Aubrey Beswick (1933 – 2013). He subsequently retired, leaving the band in July 2007. Paul Backhouse conducted the band for the 2007/2008 academic year, however he left the band for personal reasons in July 2008. Thomas Pitts took over conducting duties and is still conducting today.
