Stonehenge Landscape - Stonehenge Wildlife Walk

Join the National Trust Ranger on a 3.5 mile walk to discover another aspect of the Stonehenge Landscape as we look at the wildlife that makes its home here. Listen to the distinctive sound of the lark ascending, in the hedgerows birds such as yellowhammer and corn bunting can be seen. Large areas of chalk grassland have been restored, the flora attracting butterflies such as common blue. The walk will take in the impressive King Barrow Ridge with its Bronze Age barrows and veteran beech trees
A National Trust Event - Start 10:00. End 13:00. Check Website for Admission Charges. Meeting in a car park off Tombs Road (Larkhill) at OS grid reference SU 14382 43626 (nearest postcode SP4 8NB).
