O Quam Gloriosum

London Concord Singers, conductor Jessica Norton, celebrate Summer with Victoria's Missa O Quam Gloriosum, based on his own joyful motet of 1572. Perhaps one of the most perfect masses ever written, it balances great simplicity with controlled fervour. We will be performing both the mass and the motet, alongside a selection of motets by Poulenc, Rameau, Durufle, Bruckner and Hassler, plus Sir James MacMillan's O Radiant Dawn from his Strathclyde motets. James MacMillan - O Radiant Dawn, Hassler - Laetentur Coeli, Brahms - O Heiland Reiss, Bruckner - Locus Iste, Bruckner - Os Justi, Durufle - Ubi Caritas, Durufle - Tantum Ergo, Rameau - O nuit, Poulenc - Salve Regina, Victoria - Missa O Quam Gloriosum, Victoria - O Quam Gloriosum
