Shrewsbury Choral Society - Songs of Inspiration and Beauty

Shrewsbury choral society will present their final concert of this year’s series.The concert is called ”Songs of Inspiration and Beauty.” It will be an eclectic mix of some of the most beautiful and inspiring works from the choral repertoire. Most notably is Samuel Barber’s famous Adagio, arranged for choir. Other famous pieces include Caccini’s Ave Maria, Schubert’s The Lord is my Shepherd, Brahms’ Geistliches Leid and Randall Thompson’s Alleluia. The programme will also include some beautifu
