50th Anniversary Concert

Cambridge Concert Orchestra is celebrating 50 years of playing light orchestral music from composers past and present.
The programme will include two world premieres

The Lakes of Cold Fen by Nigel Hess

Nigel Hess is best known for his theme tunes to Maigret, Hetty Wainthropp Investigates
and Ladies in Lavender, The Lakes of Cold Fen is an evocative interpretation
of a traditional Cambridge folk song collected by Ralph Vaughan Williams in 1907.
