Enjoy a cruise and guided walk with our local volunteer Ranger - a lovely chance to hear the story of Beatrix Potter and her Coniston connections and the impact of her legacy on the nation. Boarding Gondola for the 11am sailing , the day begins with a leisurely cruise on Coniston, disembarking at Monk Coniston with our Ranger for a walk up through the Monk Coniston estate to Tarn Hows - an area once owned by Beatrix Potter.
