Woolbeding Countryside - National Meadows day at Harting Down
Come and celebrate our wildflower meadows and find out about the diversity of plants and insects on this special bit of chalk grassland. Once part of our old farming heritage our remaining species rich grasslands are now vastly diminished. Take part in a plant survey, make your own herbarium, do a bug hunt and discover a wealth of insects. Booking Not Needed. Dogs on leads welcome.
